11- Design of Three-phase Permanent Three-phase permanent magnet brushless DC (PM BLDC) motor is widely Allen Bradley

simulate a three-phase PM BLDC motor that is suitable for use in the application
of electric bicycles. Initially, you should analytically estimate the power, torque,
and speed requirements needed for a typical electric bicycle and its rider in
normal road conditions. From here, you determine the motor sizing, number of
stator slots, number of rotor poles, and winding arrangement. The motor 2D
model is then constructed in simulation software where motor performances can
be computed and analyzed further. Simulation software used: COMSOL or
Ansoft Maxwell.

in the reduction of inrush input current therefore increase the converter efficiency

21- Fault detection of electrical motor based The surface temperature of an electrical motor will change when faults occur. YAP JUN HONG

temperature distribution of a motor will be captured using a thermal camera. The
thermal images will then be analyzed using machine learning technique such as
convolutional neural network to identify and classify the motor's fault. This
project involves writing MATLAB or Python code to process the thermal images.

22- Development of an IoT based power The purpose of this project is to develop a power analyzer using microcontroller. AMMAR WAFIQ

consists of an integrated bidirectional converter for the battery system, a
bidirectional LLC resonant converter, a voltage source inverter for grid-tied
operation and the Fuel-cell system. The proposed topology will be modelled with
MATLAB/Simulink to validate different operation conditions.
