In response to competition #01597956 on IH Careers, I have enclosed my resume for the Licensed
Practical Nurse Position.

Through the LPN program I have had a range of clinical experience from long-term care to acute
care. I also have 8 months of experience working as an HCA. Through these experiences I have been
able to strengthen my communication and collaboration skills as well as acquire experience in the
long-term care setting. In my current position as an HCA, I am responsible for assisting in personal
care and activities of daily living, mobility and transfers, topical medication administration, and
documentation.

I am currently enrolled in the LPN Program at Okanagan College and my education will be complete
by May 1st. In completion of this program, I have gained time management, professionalism, conflict
resolution and leadership skills. Additionally, my education has provided me with skills to thrive in
the health care environment.
