Lifting Ones Vision through Education

IV. RATIONALE:

Education is a purposeful activity directed at achieving certain aims, such as transmitting

knowledge or fostering skills and character traits. These aims may include the development of
understanding, rationality, kindness, and honesty, (Wikipedia). They say that it is one of the strongest
weapons in reducing poverty.

For the past two years, Allig National Agricultural and Trade High School aimed in reducing
the number of the students in dropping out but sad to say that it was not attained. It is really alarming
because the school’s drop-out rate increased from 1% to 3% for the school year 2020-2021.

Project LOVE: Lifting Once Vision through Education aspires to raise achievement level of
the Students-at Risk of Dropping Out (SARDO) and retrieving learners who are out of school by
incorporating with ALAW Program or Accelerating Learners Apprehension and Worries.

The proponents had arrived with this kind of project for they envisioned the possibility of
reaching one’s goal and aspiration is through proper guidance and education.

V. OBJECTIVE/S:
a. To reduce dropout rate from 3% to 0%;
b. To improve learning outcomes and achievement level of the students;
c. To encourage out of school youth to go back schooling;
d. To reinforce the community people to support the project.

Identify SARDOs Get records from the Class Advisers

Identify the Out of School Youth Conduct Census on the Out of School Youth
within and nearby barangay Allig.
Signing of MOU with the Conduct conference with the SARDO’s and Out of School
SARDO’s and Out of School Youth.
