5. GOALS/OBJECTIVES:

 To administer a pre-test in all areas of Science encompassing the competencies

developed to the students based on Most Essential Learning Competencies from
their previous learning level, which will serve as the foundation for the creation of
reading materials for the Learning Recovery and Continuity Plan.
 To use contextualized reading resources in Science in order to carry out
interventions to build and increase learners' literacy levels.
 To assess the degree of development or the areas still need work in the learner's
reading proficiency through post-test on Science encompassing the MELC utilized
in the pre-test will be administered.
6. IMPLEMENTING UNIT/OFFICE: Bikol High School for the Arts and Culture
7. OVERVIEW/RATIONALE:
The Bikol High School for the Arts and Culture will implement the RAISE CAMSURLN
program of the Depart of Education's Regional Office V and SDO Camarines Sur, which
aims to evaluate and raise the students' level of literacy and numeracy. This program will
start with the upcoming face-to-face classes. This objective is complemented by the
need to fill in knowledge gaps and losses in all subject areas brought on by the COVID-
19 Pandemic. The school’s initiative in line with this program is called BHSAC-LN or

Bridging and Honing Students Academic Competencies in Learning and Numeracy. With
this mother project, the teaching and learning Science techniques also initiates a
contextualized project which is called Project AGHAM (Addressing Students Learning
Gap through Hyperefficient Assessment Methodology).
8. ACTIVITIES/STRATEGIES: (sequentially arranged activities/process/time frame/

Pre-Implementation: (August 18 to September 2, 2022)
1. Submission of Proposal for Approval – August 18, 2022
2. Dissemination of information about the program to the target participants –
August 30,31 and September 2, 2022
3. Meeting of the Committee Members – August 17, 2022
4. Conduct of the Orientation Program for Students – August 30, 31 and
September 2, 2022

Implementation: (August 22 to October 14, 2022)

1. Conduct of Pre-test covering the MELC from the previous grade level of the
learners
2. Determine the least mastered competencies from the pre-test
3. Develop reading materials on the least mastered competencies
4. Continuous implementation and monitoring on learner’s learning outcomes and
status
5. Determine the lessons for bridging from the former grade level topics in Araling
Panlipunan to the first quarter of the current grade level (if applicable)
6. Conduct Post-test covering the MELC used in the pre-test and MELC covered in
the 1st Quarter of the current grade level (if applicable)

Post Implementation: October 17-21,2022
