I. GENERAL INFORMATION
Activity Title: INTERVENTION PROGRAM IN ARALING PANLIPUNAN
Program In-Charge: Araling Panlipunan Teachers

Venue: PASIAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

II. RATIONALE
Araling Panlipunan helps the young minds to be functionally literate in a formal educations
as they appreciate the significance of knowing where they came from for their lifelong
learning and it develops and promotes the core values- Maka-Diyos, Makatao,
Makakalikasan at Makabansa to be their strong foundation. Thus, to ensure that learning
continues despite the threat and challenges brought by the pandemic the Araling
Panlipunan Department of Pasian National High School will conduct an intervention
program to help improve the quality academic performance of learners in Araling
Panlipunan. This program aims to help the teachers to become competent instructional
managers in conducting intervention for the students, to address the need of students in
coping with the least learned competencies and to save students at risk of dropping. We
believe that through this program learners will perform better through its designed
activities.

III. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the program, the ARALING PANLIPUNAN students of Pasian National
High School are expected to:
a. Improve their performance level;
 Increase the proficiency level in Araling Panlipunan
 Increase mastery on the competencies
 Perform the different tasks given.
 Produce creative outputs.

IV. EXPECTED PARTICIPANTS


The participants of this activity are the Grade7-10 students of Pasian National High School
who have difficulties in Araling Panlipunan.

VII. SOCIO-ECONOMIC JUSTIFICATION


This activity will contribute to the idea that access to education must be maintained in times of
crisis and emergency.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION


Each quarter, monitoring and evaluation will take place. To do this, learners will receive
various sorts of assessments, and their competency levels will be determined.

SUSTAINABILITY
The outcome of this program will be used as the foundation for building or modifying another
activity that could assist the children perform better.
