This is to submit the proposal of the innovation of the undersigned Teacher titled “Project
RELAX: Recreational Enjoyable Learning Activities eXtraordinaire of Porac National
High School, Porac, Pampanga.

The innovation aims to create a positive learning environment and increase the social
interaction skill of the students and engage students to different activities among their
peers. It also increase to boost students’ morale and inclusiveness among the school
community.

Background and Rationale

Over the past few years, Porac National High School aimed at improving and developing
life-long learners fostering positive learning environment and engage them in an
optimistic social interactions and helped students decrease their low self-esteem. Social
skill interaction plays an important role on the lives of every student. It allows them to
express their innovative, creative and extra-ordinary skills among peers.

This school year 2019-2020, the school with the help of the PTA and other stakeholders,
purchased and installed the benches to give the students a safe haven to engage among
themselves and increase their social interaction skill.
Objectives: 1. to develop students physically and mentally,
improve social skills and perform better
academically
2. to provide opportunities for student
participation and leads them to peer inclusion
with group exercise and experience
3. to improve students communication skills,
increase their social interaction and self-esteem
