Impact:
The Biotek M is a confirmatory test when there
is a chance that someone might have gotten
Dengue or showed symptoms of dengue from
the first day to the fifth day. Biotek M is like the
Covid RT-PCR Test for COVID 19 but it is
specifically for assisting in detecting Dengue
infections; in which results of if the person has
been infected with dengue or not will show
results from less than an hour or an hour.
Hospitals and Medical Clinics use this device as
it is much more convenient in terms of saving
sources of the hospital/ clinic in which there will
be less hospital admission of those who might
be suspected to have dengue as well.
How is it considered under Bioengineering:
In terms of how it is considered bioengineering
usually medical devices such as prosthetic arms,
and many others fall under the Biomedical
Engineering Section in which biomedical section
focuses in both the Technology and software of
the inventions in which the Biotek M can be
under biomedical and biochemical area since
the device purpose is to help in detecting
patients that are probably suspected to have
been infected by dengue.
