RM LAB VIVA

Instructions:

1. Students to be in formals
2. Students should be present on the scheduled date and time for his/her viva. Rescheduling
of viva will strictly not be done.
3. Students should bring their laptops and ready with R studio and excel opened on their
systems. No extra time will be given for this. Just 2 min will be given to import the data
and run a command.
4. Students are required to bring their files in spiral bound completed in all aspects (title
page, index, page nos, proper formatting (Times New roman/ Calibri/ Heading Font size-
14, Font size 12, etc ). The title page, print outs of pages with screenshots should be
coloured print outs.
5. Page nos should start from first exercise of Excel. No Page nos on title page, index page.
6. Each question should start from a new page. Proper headings for every exercise should be
given. (Refer to index).
7. Students found with copied files will be marked zero for the entire viva
8. Students should keep pen , and notepad ready
9. Total marks(40), Viva-20, File-10, Attendance-10

Note: The viva schedule will be shared by 16-17 April. Viva will be scheduled irrespective of
enrollment no sequence. So students’ viva can be scheduled at any day/date/time. So all students
should keep their file ready and prepare accordingly. Viva will start from next week.

 Significance level
 Hypothesis formulation and type of statistical test to be run
 Difference between different types of test
 Normal distribution, acceptance and rejection , critical value
 Any dataset shall be given and what test is applicable will be asked
 Any dataset shall be given and students may be asked to perform any test on R studio or
excel
 Executing any advanced excel function can be given
 Theory for all EXCEL functions? When to use a particular function and why
