Subject: Updating Amplifier Firmware to V68

Background
Scodix has discovered that upon powerup, in some cases the amplifier doesn’t start properly,
resulting in an empty module section. This may occur in presses with Ultra software version 4.6 /1.0
and higher.
To resolve this situation, update the amplifier firmware, as described in this document.

Procedure
1. Download Scodix Amplifier FPGA V68 (SWC-0278-01) from one of the following links:
• On OneDrive: SWC-0278-01 Amplifier firmware FPGA V68

• On the Scodix Knowledge Center website: Amplifier Firmware Version 68

2. Follow the installation instructions in DTN-3028 Loading Amplifier Card Firmware.

Note:
After the upgrade, if an amplifier card needs to be replaced, order the new amplifier card
BR-2059-52, which has version 68 firmware already burned onto it.
