[02327] Possible safety fault ( WLP fault )

While the laser diode driver was enabled, the WLP


firmware could not detect the laser power supply which

implies that there has been a safety fault. Since imaging is

not possible without the laser, this error is considered fatal.

As a result of the shutdown fault, the laser diode driver is


shutdown and the system fault handler will shutdown the
exposure head. Note that this error code is also returned to
the host as an unsolicited fatal fault.

Verify the state of the safety loop.


Operator Action

▪ There has been a safety fault.


Causes ▪ Hardware failure.

Suggested ▪ Check for any device safety loop faults and repair

▪ Confirm 48V at the TH2 using Measuring
Voltages on a TH2 head
▪ Check for cabling faults from MCE, PDB and
write laser power supply to the TH2.
▪ Check for damaged connectors at MCE/PDB/
Power Supply/TH2
▪ Replace the head.
