In the delivery of health care, strong teamwork will have an immediate and beneficial

impact on the safety of the patient and health outcomes. Because of rising co-morbidities and the
difficulty of treatment specialization, there is a greater need for successful teams in healthcare
settings. In the current scenario, where patient care is the top priority, a doctor, a surgeon, or any
other health provider of any health institution is unable to exclusively offer professional
treatment that pleased their patients. The globalization of health insurance and the need for high-
quality medical care necessitate simultaneous skill growth in health care, with a heavy emphasis
on patient-centered teamwork (Rolfsen, 2013). So, it becomes essential for the new practitioner
to work in a team in providing effective healthcare services to the patients. All these things can
only be accomplished by putting the patient at the center of treatment and expressing a broad set
of beliefs and ideals. This will aid in the formation and development of an efficient team capable
of providing excellent treatment to patients. In order to accomplish goals and determine
obstructions, team members' drive should be backed up by tactics and realistic skills ensuring
that the team works together to make the patient experience a positive one.
The goal of providing high-quality patient care is contingent on high success from the
teams who are deliberately focused on the patient's care. However, we must bridge the divide
between conventional approaches and the modern behaviors demanded of a successful team in
order to accomplish those elevated goals (Ogbonnaya, 2018). As a result, health care
organizations should strive to provide exemplary patient care by instituting a broad team-based
culture in which those beliefs and ideals are expressed and transparently delivered by team
members, including patients, who should be put at the center of care.
