1. As a future educator, how will you apply the strategies in teaching arts to elementary
pupils?
 I will assess what is the lesson all about first so that I will know what strategies I will use
example if it’s for individual, cooperative learning or differentiation etc.

2. Explain the role of a teacher in Art subject.

 They teach for the students to express themselves through arts, also they encourage to
bring out their talents in arts. They also teach creativity and innovation to their
pupils/students. In short, their role is to bring out the best of their students.

3.  Choose 1 topic in each grade level (Art Education) and then explain on how to introduce
this to elementary grades.
 Grade 1 (Five Basic Shapes) I will first play a video or song about shapes and I will show
them a picture of basic shapes and let them identify it and proceed to the lesson proper.
 Grade 2 (Let us learn to draw) I will start by showing them different lines and ask them
to combine those lines to form a drawing.
 Grade 3 (Tints and Shades of Colors) I will introduce the topic to them by showing the
different colors in able for them to assess their prior knowledge about the topic.
 Grade 4 (Painting) I will post different paintings in the board to assess what is the scope
of their knowledge about the topic and proceed to the lesson proper.
 Grade 5 (3D crafts – Mobile) Show them pictures of mobile and the materials needed
and asl them if what they know about it or if they are familiar with it.
 Grade 6 (Photography) I will let them do the KWL Activity about photography
