Degen is short for “degenerate". Someone
who takes risks. When it comes to crypto, it
refers to people who invest in digital assets
like NFTs without doing their due diligence,
basing their decisions on impulse and feeling.

The floor price is the lowest price listed for an
NFT project. While it doesn't necessarily mean

them are usually lower ranking in rarity,
nonetheless, it is a good entry point for new

some times in real life too.

"Hold on for dear life" means holding on to an
asset for a long time, regardless of its price.
The acronym HODL originated from a typo in a
Bitcoin forum in 2013 that readers mistakenly
interpreted as an acronym.

to someone who is nervous and panic sells too
soon, instead of holding for the long-term. It
comes from the Reddit, /r/WallStreetBets
subreddit.

Question & Answer. These happen frequently
within NFT communities and give holders the
opportunity to ask the project owners
questions about the project and where it's
heading.

Rekt, also known as #rekt, it’s a slang term
for “wrecked”. It’s often used in the gaming
community and refers to someone who has
been totally ruined or destroyed. In the crypto
community, it refers to someone who has
suffered severe financial losses.

NFT shilling is when someone promotes an
NFT project on social media as a marketing
strategy or as a way to get them on a whitelist
quicker. Many Discord servers create 'shill'
channels for members to promote projects
that they think have the potential to moon.

TX is short for transaction. Every transaction
on the blockchain is assigned a unique

on June 2, 2014, and since then has been
frequently used by many projects and
businesses in the web3 space.

Yield in financial terms refers to what an asset
produces in financial value. NFTs do not by
default earn yield, however when they are
used to mint tokens and add to liquidity pools
for DeFi, they can earn the holder passive
income.
