Biodiversity of Australia
 The Australian fauna groups a great variety of unique animals. A unique
feature of the Australian fauna is the relative scarcity of placental mammals,
as opposed to the abundance of marsupials, a group of mammals that
complete their embryonic development in a pouch, for example the
Tasmanian wolf.
Geographical Area of Australia

 Australia, located in Oceania, has an area of 7,686,850 km², of which 68,920


km² is water, it has no territorial borders as it limits only with seas and
oceans. To the north with the Timor Sea, the Torres Strait and the Arafura
Sea; to the south with the Indian Ocean and the Bass Strait; to the west with
the Indian Ocean; and to the east with the Tasman Sea and the Coral Sea.
Summary

 In summary, Australia has a great variety of animals such as the Tasmanian


wolf and marsupials, also a large area and many seas such as the Timor Sea,
the Torres Strait and the Arafura Sea.
