On September 1, 2020, the LGU Angadanan conducted the 3rd quarter Nationwide

Simultaneous Earthquake Drill. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the said NSED was
conducted differently in order to comply with the health protocols. The NDRRMC Civil Defense
Office opted to conduct a webinar entitled, "Earthquake Preparedness Webinar", which was
livestreamed through various social media accounts.

The webinar commenced with the online ceremonial pressing of the button which, under
normal circumstances, would sound the alarm that people would take as their cue to perform
the "duck, cover, and hold" technique. The speakers on the NSED webinar focused on informing
and educating the community of the risks associated with earthquakes as well as the to dos and
the not to dos before, during, and after an earthquake. Since the earthquake drill cannot be
conducted due to health protocols, the NDRRMC aimed to spread awareness through this
webinar.

The speakers on the Earthquake Preparedness Webinar were <>. It lasted for about 2 hours and
the organizers experienced little to no technical issues. Despite the limitations brought about by
the pandemic, the NSED for the 3rd quarter of 2020 was still considered a success.
