The institution that I choose is the Department of Labor and Employment. Because these
institution promote gainful employment opportunities, develop human resources, protect workers
and promote their welfare, and maintain industrial peace. One of the best program offers of this
institution is the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) which help me and other youth
earn money for studies and allowances. Since, these program aims to assist poor, but deserving,
students and out-of-school youth to pursue their education by providing them income through
employment.

There program provides the youth like me with valuable experience for better school-to-
work transition. The qualified Youth were employed for a minimum of 20 to a maximum of 52
working days where participating employers pay 60 percent of their salary while the DOLE pays the
40 percent share based on the applicable minimum wage in the area. Within that it could help us in
providing the basic daily needs even for studies of every Filipino youth that are qualified in
accordance to the eligibility coverage and requirements of these institution.
