Gyratory Crusher Wear Parts
Smooth Mantles
Used primarily for mining applications, maximizing production and providing
long wear life in the most abrasive conditions. Smooth
mantle
Fully Ribbed Mantles
Used mainly for aggregate applications and to improve material flow by
allowing fine materials to escape the chamber through the channels. Ribbed
mantles grip rock better and reduce belching. Valleys provide channels for fine
material to escape the chamber – allowing more room for new material and
reducing the chance of clogging.
Partially Ribbed Mantles
Ribbed at the upper half to maximize grip on larger rocks and the smooth lower
half provides more wear metal for longer life in severe abrasion.
Ribbed
One-Piece or Two-Piece Mantles mantle
One-piece designs are ideal for retaining tightness and are easier to install and
replace than two-piece mantles. Two-piece mantles help reduce throwaway
metal, and the upper mantle can be reused with two to five lower mantles
depending on the application.
Concave Segments
ESCO concave segments are larger, with fewer pieces to
handle – resulting in less time to remove old segments and
install new ones. Larger segments also mean fewer seams to
wear, which reduces maintenance costs.
Double-High Concave Segments
Double high segments allow two rows of ESCO concaves
to replace four rows of standard OEM designs. The result is fewer pieces to
handle for quicker replacement. Double-high concaves reduce the OEM total of
48 segments down to 16, eliminating seams that can wear and increase
maintenance costs.
Pin or Key Concaves
Tapered dowel pins are driven between concaves, forcing them outward to
make contact with the top shell and create even spacing. The key concave has
parallel sides and is easily removed with a wedge. Once the key concave is out, Partially
the remainder are easily removed. ribbed mantle

Kwik-Lok Systems
Kwik-Lok II Wear Protection
Mobile Equipment
Kwik-Lok II runners provide an effective wear solution on mobile equipment to
protect high wear areas on draglines, shovel dippers, face shovels, excavators
and loader buckets. They are also an excellent choice for haul truck beds. Other
applications include dozer arms, scraper bowls and under log loading forks.
Stationary Equipment
Wear runners are particularly effective in crushing and processing plants where
limited access, confined space and lack of crane service make lightweight
runners a safer, more cost-effective solution. Runners have been successfully
used to protect high wear areas under crushers, in chutes, feeders, scalping
decks, grizzlies, transfer points and strike plates.
Hot Slag
Semi-mechanical Kwik-Lok runners are ideally suited for fighting abrasion in
hot slag. The weld-on stop block eliminates the use of rubber that may be
damaged in the heat, while offering the benefits of ESCO alloy wear and impact
resistance.
Underwater Dredge
The reliability of Kwik-Lok system is an excellent match for underwater
applications. The positive retention with the weld-on stop block is ideal where
components are not always visible to the machine operator.
Processing Plants
Kwik-Lok wear protection is ideally suited for applications where gravity can
be used to hold the runner on the base. Since there is no reverse load trying
to push the runner off the base, the system may be operated without the stop
block installed, saving time and expense when replacement is needed.

Epoxy Backing for Crushers
ESCO provides Epoxy Crusher Backing for
the aggregates industry in standard and high-
performance kits that are easy to mix and pour.
ESCO Crusher Backing is an essential part of
any cone crusher to ensure maximum
performance from ESCO wear components.
Standard Crusher Backing
ESCO Crusher Backings for standard applications
provide proven performance at an economical price,
and is available in two formulas. When cured, ESCO Crusher
Backings provide high compressive strength support for wear parts. The two-
part compounds can be used for backing liners and wear parts on almost any
crusher.
• ESCOBAK ™ Standard Crusher Backing provides excellent strength and
impact resistance. The smooth consistency of the non-settling formula allows
for easy pouring and ensures complete backing by eliminating gaps that
weaken and shorten wear part life in gyratory crushers and cone crushers.
