 INTRODUCTION

A dish garden is the arranging various plants in a single

container. The container can be any shape and size that depend on
your perspective. You can place it in tables, mantels, pedestals or
windowsills.
There are a lot of benefits you can get from this garden. One
is it will add aesthetic deign on your preferred location. It also
helpful in environment because it can filter out toxin and
eliminate airborne pollutants. In exchange, it can give us a fresh
oxygen on our home.
However, in making dish garden you must consider your
location. You must have put appropriate plants like in outdoor
that has direct sunlight, drought resistant plant is suitable in that
connection. The soil also must be considered like for cacti, your
soil must be sandy. It also requires maintenance such as repotting
pruning, trimming that depends on plant you used.
All in all, dish garden is therapeutic, good to make a hobby
and most of it can also be source of income because you can sell
your works.

For me, making dish garden is fun and at the same time it’s challenging. It is
fun because I enjoyed arranging and designing the plants. It is challenging because
at first, I don’t know what to do and I don’t know what design to make. It’s hard for
me because I’m not born with creative skills.
At the end, I manage to finish my dish garden. I’m glad that it turned out good.
Seeing my design makes me proud of myself because I finished it beautifully. Most
of all, this is therapeutic in a way that it can relieve your stress when seeing the
design, you make.
