So now the products that we made are the ones which bring
changes in the environment, but the impact is very low as
they take a lot of time, and the state of the earth is
deteriorating very rapidly so we need some big changes to
take place.
How can we bring it to reality and get the benefits?
An ideal eco-garden is a lush, substantially dense garden,
where there is a proper procedure to recycle all your waste
and composted waste makes ideal fertilizer for the garden.
Also, a denser garden helps in lesser usage of water for
irrigation and the shade of the ground reduces evaporation.
Edible plants form a major part of any eco-garden or eco-
gardening practice. It is also a common practice to mix the
veggies and herbs together rather than plant them
separately. This, in turn, reduces infestation. For example: if
you plant carrots and spring onions together, the spring
onions will keep in check the pests or pets that can destroy
carrots. Eco-gardens also defy the notion that insects and
birds are harmful to the plants. Here, you try to attract
insects and birds that feed on the latter. Birds can also keep
snails and caterpillars away from the garden. Eco-gardens are
gaining popularity across the world as people are becoming
aware of the environmental degradations and thus switching
to green practices.

To your astonishment, a plant can also be an ecofriendly
plant. Yes, you read it correct there are plants who are eco
friendly
But what are ecofriendly plants?
Basically, the plants which were grown using harmless
chemicals, manure and fertilizers which does not deplete the
ecosystems are known as ecofriendly plants.
what are the most ecofriendly plants?

How Plants Clean the Air. ...
Which Plants Work Best. ...
Aloe Vera - Aloe barbadense, ...Ghi Kuwar
Rubber Plant - Ficus Robusta. ...
Peace Lily –. Spathiphyllum...
Spider Plant – Chlorophytumcomosum, ribbon plant,
Now let’s come up with the main aspects of eco garden and try to
project it .Below are the different structures to be made –
Building of a POND –
For making of the pond dig a wide hole in the soil
before directly adding water it’s important to make a
proper pond bed for it so line the hole with a layer of
sand, then a layer of pond underlay or burlap, and finally
a large piece of waterproof pond liner. Around the pond
we can plant few aquatic plants such as water lettuce,
mosaic plant etc.. Add water in the pond and it’s a good
place for fishes to swim in!!
Bug Boxes
This is made up of some old cuts of woods which includes
canes, old timbers which should be drilled holes in between.
These hollow canes will allow mason bees or solitary bees or
even leaf cutter bees to crawl in and lay their eggs.So a bug
box forms a sort of habitat for all small creatures including
spiders as well
Bird Areas
It’s lovely attracting birds into our garden they provide a
valuable role in eating garden pests .But in the winter when
there are not many pests , fruits and berries are not present
around it’s important to feed the birds. We can provide the
birds their food in the form of nuts , seeds etc..It is very
efficient to make a feeding station for the birds.A model of
the feeding station is given below.
This bird feeding station helps them to have food even in the
winter season.
Making of a pavilion
It is about the hut that is mostly made up of wood and uses
solar panels for the electrical, heat energy. It is mostly at the
center of the eco garden.
So, this was all about our eco-garden .Now we go to our next
step of PRODUCT MAKING
