The gesture guessing games or Charades is a common guessing game performed at parties
and other social events. In the 18th century, charades, a type of literary riddle, gained popularity in
France. Every age group and size of party may enjoy playing charades. In charades, one person acts
out a word or phrase, and the goal is to guess it. Teams of at least two players select one team
member to mimic a short phrase, name of things, or unfamiliar but well-known quote. To get a
point, the other team members must correctly pronounce the word or phrase in its full within the
time limit. The gesture game activity may be utilized as intended or as needed when you need to
fill in an additional 5 or 10 minutes because it is straightforward and doesn't require any special
