 Scope of conference
The requirement of an alternate source of
energy which can last long and reliable is one of
the basic requirements of the world. Solar
energy is one of such sources which if
converted to electrical power, can meet the
global requirement of power. The research on
solar cells is directed for the development of
high efficiency, low cost and stable solar cells.
The efficiency of solar cells basically depends
on the materials that are used for fabrication.
The development of solar cells requires the
expertise of Physicists, Chemists and engineers.
The attempt for mimicking the nature involves
the knowledge of life science also. Thus the field
is in its real sense, highly interdisciplinary in
nature and a forum for bringing them on a table
for close interaction is highly essential.
This conference is being planned to bring in
experts on a single platform for sharing their
expertise, views and experiences on all aspects
of materials. The primary focus shall be to
invite very senior scientists as plenary speakers
who can guide the young researchers and
students to take up further research. Students
and young researchers shall be allowed to
present posters/ oral talks.
Papers presented in the conference, after
review, shall be published in Materials Today:
Proceedings (SCI indexed, listed in SCOPUS).
