Our days in daily videos

#1 MEETING 6/11/2022 8 P.M.

Plan/timeline of our project:

1. CREATING MAPS OF OUR CITIES = ORIGIN + MEET ME (TIME 7-21 / 11 / 2022)

a. MEET ME → students post their pictures with some information about them
(personal information, likes/dislikes, hobby, something personal or interesting
about them)
b. ORIGIN → from global to local → students (each group, so 3?) prepare a
presentation introducing their country and then their city (or even an area of
residence of each person - some of them live around Toruń or as Katarina
mentioned even hundreds of kilometers, so I propose creating it like that:

COUNTRY → CAPITAL? HISTORIC PLACES? → THE PLACE OF RESIDENCE

OF EACH PERSON → CITY WHERE OUR SCHOOL IS LOCATED

c. I think we can create a map (just like we did during the workshop) and pin special
places - our cities of residence, schools, but also interesting cities in town.

COMMENT SECTION: where do we post it? We create a digipad? Or get them on TwinSpace
so they can post it there? (Dominika)

2. MEET OUR CLASS

a. MEET ME → students post their pictures with some information about them
(personal info, likes/dislikes, hobby, something personal or interesting about
them) ← maybe we can do it here, in the ‘second stage’ instead of the first one?
b. Creating a presentation - introducing themselves and school → students write
about their school, origin, history, and create a presentation with pictures and
then introduce themselves, the group
c. Time to prepare and → 21-27 / 11 / 2022 then they send it and we have another
week to watch them and discuss them → 28-4 / 11-12 / 2022

COMMENT SECTION: now I don’t know, do we make them introduce each other in the first or
second stage? (Dominika)
3. MEETING ONLINE #1 (5-12 / 12/ 2022)
a. We meet online with our students around 5-12 / 12/ 2022 and get to know each
other more. During this meeting we will quiz (via KAHOOT?) each other about
some information that we mentioned in the presentations

COMMENT SECTION:

4. DICTIONARY
a. As we mentioned it during our meeting we will let them do it in the meantime of
other exercises
b. We have yet to come up with the categories of their vocabulary, we decided to
give it some time, see what they’ll mention in their presentations
c. We gave around time → 5-9 / 12 / 2022

COMMENT SECTION:

5. ALBUM (12 / 12 / 2022 - 2 / 01 / 2023)

a. GOOGLE SLIDES
b. Every other day
c. Catchy title + picture
d. First, everyone has their own link so their own presentation with their daily videos
(do we share them immediately so we can check up on them/us as they/we go?)
e. The requirements for the video:
i. 1 minute at least
ii. Has to be spoken
iii. A person does not have to record oneself, camera can be pointed at sth
else
iv. Has to be posted until 8 p.m.
v. Can be recorded as sth interesting is happening or as a recap of the
whole day (or two)
f. When they finish their own recording they have to collect/download every video
and with the use of some internet or computer tools create one video with all of
them
g. Then each one of us will put our withe onto one shareable link and that way we'll
create our album
h. We divide creating album into two different timelines due to the fact that we have
different winter break scheduled

COMMENT SECTION: because there is a break, can we make them do the videos till the mid of
January instead of till the 2nd? I suggest till 13 / 01 / 2023 - would you agree on that?
(Dominika)

6. MEETING ONLINE #2
a. I think after creating the album and watching some of our days we can do
another meeting online? Maybe we will give us time to watch videos and then
meet and compare?

COMMENT SECTION:

7. BeReal
a. Additional cultural challenges
b. We left it for further discussion

COMMENT SECTION:

8. WHAT WE’VE LEARNED ABOUT EACH OTHER

a. We discussed it briefly during our workshop
b. Basically it was an idea to check what we’ve learned - such as customs,
traditions, differences or similarities when it comes to school life (etc). And with
that, we can create another game - kahoot or some online escape room where
we can find out what we’ve learned - just an idea : )
