ARTICLE 1 – GENERAL GUIDELINES

Section 1.1 Rationale

All Students are required to complete all Activities indicated per week.

Section 1.2 Course Learning Outcomes

Stated in the approved Syllabus for CADD 1, all requirements are in full
adherence of the target skills needed to be developed and acquired by the
students during and after the whole duration of the Course. As interpreted as
Essential Skills and Primary Industry Standards level skills as administered by
the instructor consulted with Subject Cluster Members.

Section 1.3 Output Guidelines (Nomenclature)

All outputs are required to comply on the format indicated in these guidelines
for intelligibility and monitoring.

Section 1.4 WEEK NO. 3 ACTIVITY

POLYLINE TANGRAM EXERCISE

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Create the attached image (tangram) using polyline and combinations


of basic operations for lines and XL angles.
2. Set first the Absolute zero for the first point
3. Press combination of: Hold Ctrl key + right click to show menu
4. Then choose “osnap settings”
5. Go to the “object snap” tab make sure all is ticked (checked) then exit
6. Sample No. 1: PL Creation
a. Press PL, enter
b. Click anywhere
c. Enter distance (as indicated)
d. Orthographic on and off: F8

7. Sample 2: Circle creation
a. Press C, enter
b. Click anywhere
c. For radius press “r”, then input value
d. For diameter press “d”, then input value
8. No annotations and dimensions inclusions in the drawing needed.
9. Use the default “Continuous line”

Section 1.6 Scoring Matrix

1. Correct output - 70 %
2. Drafting Dexterity - 20 %
3. Presentation - 10 %

Section 1.7 Deadline

Section 1.8 General Notes:

1. All outputs are required to be the sole output of the proponent, no portion
thereof are to be copied whether in partial or in full. Provisions are from
the discussed portions that can be drawn from references only.
2. Violation of item no. 1 is directly to be equated as full dishonesty and
subject to necessary disciplinary actions indicated in the Syllabus and
applicable measures from the University’s guidelines.
3. The instructor expresses great confidence in this Section with great
character collectively and highly inclined to adhere to all statements and
observance of rules and regulations of the Mapua University.
4. All questions or any contentions are allowed up until November 26, 2022,
11:59PM Saturday only. Beyond that date it is conclusive that the student
had fully understood and bind himself/ herself to all provisions and
instructions stated in this guideline.
5. The instructor is reachable via multiple means and concerns may also be
coursed-thru Class Representatives within the stated limit of queries.
6. Inability to adhere due unforeseen or any emergency cause is subject for
validation and appropriate documentations.
7. This document is for instructions only and solely administered by the
Author / Instructor for a clear output.
