The following notifications of the Government of India, Ministry of Law & Justice, Legislative Department, New Delhi, the
30th September 2010 (Asvina 8, 1932) is republished:—
NOTIFICATION
S.O. 2399(E).—The following Order made by the President is published for general information:—
In pursuance of sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Council Act, 2010 (16 of 2010), the President is
pleased to make the following order, namely:—
1. This Order may be called the Delimitation of Council Constituencies (Tamil Nadu) Order, 2010.
2. The Constituencies into which the State of Tamil Nadu shall be divided for the purpose of elections to the Legislative
Council of the State from (a) the local authorities’ constituencies, (b) the graduates’ constituencies and (c) the teachers’
constituencies in the said State, the extent of each such constituency and the number of seat(s) allotted to each such
Constituency shall be as shown in the following table:—
