1 Project Structure
1.1 Team Structure
The survey will be supervised by the State Leader under whom 14 District Leaders are
placed. There is should be one District Leader from every district in Kerala. The District
Leaders handle a team of 10 Data Collectors each of whom will be in charge of a group
of 30 Questionnaires.

Number of questionnaires per Data collector = 30


Number of questionnaires per District Leader = (30*10) 300
Number of questionnaires at State Leader level = (300* 14) 4200

1.2 Project Execution


Provided below are the districts in Kerala along with the major areas in each district
listed. A respondents of the questionnaires must be carefully selected by each of the 10
Data Collectors so as to cover most of these areas.

1.3 Sample Groups


The respondents must be filtered to meet the following criteria. Of the 30 respondents for
each Data Collector, 12 should fall under the Sample Group: Students, 9 should all
under the Sample Group: Women, 6 should fall under the Sample group: Bachelors who
are employed and 3 could be a random Persons of Interest of the Data Collector

2 Reporting Structure
2.1 Responsibility
The State Leader is responsible for ensuring that the filled forms are collected, checked
for errors and deposited at the main office. The State Leader is also responsible for the
reporting to the main office on a periodical basis, the details of which are provided in the
next sections.

The last date for the submission of the forms at the main office is the 13th of December 2010.

2.2 Reports
The first report submitted by the State Leader will be a one time report containing the
Names, Contact and District-wise details of the 140 Data Collectors who will be involved
in the project. This report should be submitted by the 8th or 9th of November.

The State Leader should report to a personnel designated by the main office on a
weekly basis. The reporting should occur preferably on the 14th, 21st, 28th of November
and the 5th of December respectively.

The Data Collection report should be in the format of excel sheet, the template for which
will be handed out from the main office to the State Leader. These excel sheets may in
turn be circulated to the District Leaders/ Data Collectors as per the convenience of the
State Leader. Along with this, weekly progress reports should also be submitted against
the target quoted by the main office. This report should also be submitted in the form of
excel sheet, the template for which will be shared by the main office. The target per
week is 1400 completed forms.

Initial Data Collector report to be submitted on 8th and 9th of November

Reporting dates are 14, 21, 28 November and 5th December

The reporting process of the State Leader can be simplified by encouraging the District
leaders to hold separate reporting meetings with the Data Collectors. This will ensure
transparency of the process and the ready availability of data that needs to be sent to
the main office.

3 Earnings
The Project Leader will be paid a sum of Rs 10,000 for the successful completion of the
project. The District Leaders will be paid a sum of Rs 7 for every completed form
submitted from his team. The Data Collectors will be paid Rs 30 for each completed form
they submit to the District Leaders.
