Amigurumi Sheep is crocheted in the round. Do not join the rounds.

Mark the beginning of your rounds with a stitch marker or safety pin. I use yarn
to mark beginning of each row but you can choose whichever way works
best for you.
Size: with 2,5mm (or 3mm)crochet hook:
Approx. 25cm/10 inc
Yarn:
Austermann Alpaca Silk, Worsted / 10 ply (9 wpi), 80% camelid alpaca, 20 %
silk, 1 ball white, 1 ball brown.
Other possible choices I have used:
Bio - Baumwolle, G-B Wolle, Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi), organic cotton
Pure Merino James C. Brett DK, DK / 8 ply (11 wpi), 100% wool-merino
If working with another yarn you will need to use a hook one or even two sizes
smaller than indicated.
Tools and materials what you´ll need:
8mm black or brown safety eyes (or whichever other colour works for you)
For filling: sheep wool or fiberfill or any other toy stuffing. Stuff gradually!
Crochet skill level:
This pattern requires knowledge of basic crochet terms: Crocheting in the
round, forming a magic ring, single crochet stitch (sc), single crochet increase
(Inc), single crochet invisible decrease (Invdec), Slip stitch (Sl.st)and joining
pieces together.
Terms:
“Magic ring”: adjustable loop with 6 sc, pulled together tightly, there is no
hole left in the middle.
“Neat finish”: this is one of the methods used to finish toys in amigurumi.
I will describe it in my pattern as well. Photos shown below!
Abbreviations used:
Sc – single crochet
Inc – increase
Invdec – invisible decrease

Finishing off and starting to make a “neat finish“. To do this pick up all the sc

left with a tapestry needle, one or two at the time and pull them together. This
will give you a neat and proper finish…

To finish off feet and hands, use black or dark brown cotton yarn and make a
loop stitch through the foot/hand (see photo above). Pull it tight and secure
with two knots then weave in the yarn ends.

Boy version with little pants and braces. it´s super easy!

You´ll need a bit of green or any other color you like if doing little pants for a
