Saddle

1 inc) on the other side of foundation chain = 40

Switch to color #1289.
R2: 1 sc, 1 triple inc, 16 sc, 1 triple inc, 2 sc, 1 triple
inc, 16 sc, 1 triple inc, 1 sc = 48 sc.
Switch to color #3344
R3: 1 inc, 22 sc, 2 inc, 22 sc, 1 inc = 52 sc.
Switch to color #2194.
R4 (back loop only): 52 sl sts.
Invisible fasten off.
Use color #3334 to embroider R1 and color #4456
to embroider R2 as shown in the picture.

Assembly and finishing

Sew neck onto body, front aligned with R3 of
body.
Sew neck between R11 & 16 of head. Insert
stuffing.
Use color #8990 to embroider nostrils onto R4 &
5 of head and mouth between R2 & 3.
Sew ears between R15 and 17, 7 sts apart.
Cut strands of color #8990 to 4.75” and insert
into head forming mane. Trim excess.
Sew tail onto R5 of body.
Put on bridle through nose, pendant on front
and the 15 chain cord on back of head.
Put on saddle onto donkey as shown in
the picture.
