The Puppy and the Bunny

Under a berry tree lived a little baby bunny called Bell

and her family. They were a happy family and liked being
in the country, living out of the city.

One early morning, a loud noise woke Bell up. She

jumped up and was shocked to see a puppy sticking its
nose under the log. She wanted to wake her mummy and
daddy up, but the puppy pushed her out.

Bell was really scared and hopped across the grass to

get to the safety of a bush. The puppy ran after her very
quickly. Bell was sure the puppy was hungry and wanted
to eat her!

The puppy grabbed Bell’s body and started to carry her on

the grass. Then, Bell got angry!

“This is not funny! Put me down!” Bell yelled.

“I was only trying to have fun. I cannot find anyone to

play with!” the puppy said and with that, took Bell back
over to her log and dropped her down with a smile.

“Thank you!” said Bell, feeling very lucky.
