Cinderella and the Prince

While eating her morning cereal, Cinderella’s evil stepmother

screamed at Cinderella to come to her office. Cinderella’s evil stepmother

gave her five cents and told her to buy apple cider and celery for dinner.

Cinderella knew it would not be enough money but she did not argue with

her stepmom.

On a piece of paper, she wrote her shopping list down with a pencil.

Then, she rode her bicycle to the center of the city marketplace. On her

way there, she passed a circus poster with a dancing bear. It made her

giggle. The prince, who was in disguise, saw Cinderella and her smiling

face. He decided that he wanted to meet her so he followed her to the

marketplace.

Cinderella was circling around and trying to find juice and celery at

a good price. The prince noticed that Cinderella only had a few cents in

her hand. He decided to ask a vendor to sell Cinderella what she needed

for only three cents. The prince told the vendor that he would pay the rest.

When Cinderella went up to the vendor to ask his prices, the vendor said

that he was having a special sale. Cinderella bought the apple cider and

celery for only three cents. The prince saw Cinderella’s happy face and

he decided to introduce himself.
