(New) Infiltration Moves (adapted from UC)

(New) Penetrate Security

When you penetrate the security of a site (physical or virtual), first envision the
nature of this place (Ask the Oracle if unsure), and set its rank.
● Troublesome site: 3 progress per area.
● Dangerous site: 2 progress per area.
● Formidable site: 1 progress per area.
● Extreme site: 2 ticks per area.
● Epic site: 1 tick per area.
Then, for each area or node you traverse, envision your surroundings (Ask the
Oracle if unsure). If you navigate this area…
● With haste, roll +edge
● With stealth or trickery, roll +shades
● With observation, intuition, or expertise, roll +wits

On a strong hit, choose one:


● Discover an Opportunity.
● Mark progress.
If you roll a Strong Hit with a Match you may instead mark progress and Find a
Payload.
On a weak hit, you uncover something interesting, but it is bound up in a peril or
reveals an ominous aspect of this place. Envision what you encounter. Then, take
+1 momentum.
On a miss, Reveal a Danger.

(New) Find a Payload

When you encounter some useful information which you’ll be able to sell on in the
future, envision what the information is and give it a rank.
● Incidental Data: 1 tick.
● High Value Data: 2 ticks.
● Critical Data: 3 ticks.
Then, once you Bug OUT successfully, roll based on how you managed to sell the
data…
- While in a hurry, roll +edge.
- While being covert or through a proxy, roll +shadow.
- While finding the exact person paying the most, roll +wits.
On a strong hit, mark legacy progress on your Pay Data legacy track.
On a weak hit, mark legacy progress but also Reveal a Danger (if still infiltrating,
otherwise Pay the Price) or Draw Heat (1).
On a miss, Reveal a Danger (if still infiltrating, otherwise Pay the Price) and Draw
Heat(2).
