Dialogues:

Scene 1:
Narrator (Dilmina): Once upon a time, there lived a mad scientist called
James. He lived in an old cottage which was located in the deep dark
woods and no one had dared to enter it. One day James went out into
the woods to gather some ingredients for his project. He mixed those
ingredients and made a serum. He made this serum in order to make a
monster and rule the world with it. And now our story begins.
Mad Scientist (Dihein): Mmwwuhahahaaa!! My serum is finally done!
Now, all I need is a test subject. Aha! What if I invite my cousin and his
son to show a display of my creations but I will actually take my cousin’s
son as the test subject! Mwahahahahahaha! Now I need to call, hmm…
where is my phone? AH! There it is!
Jack (Danuja): Hello? Who is this? Ah Cousin James! Actually do you
have a phone even? I never heard most of the scienti-
Mad Scientist: Yeah I don’t care if I have a phone or not, but I called to
another matter. I wanted to ask If you can come to my house because I
need to show you my projects.
Jack: When? Oh! Shall I bring my son too.
Mad Scientist: Ok, come tomorrow.
Jack: Oh yeah! Father son day is tomorrow! Great timing Bro!
Narrator: The next day.
Jack: This place is creepy.
Jim (Kaveesha): Yeah.
James: Ah! You finally made it you slow slugs and stinky pigs.
Jack: What did you say?!
James: nothing…
James: anyway, Jim could be so kind and go inside the house? Me and
your father have a matter to discuss.
Jim: ok (and goes inside)
Jack: So what’s this matter you have to discuss with me?
James: oh yes, come. (takes Jack to the abandoned shack)
Jack: So why did you bri- (James pushes Jack inside and locks Jack
inside) aaaah!
James: Stay put you idiotic ferret! now, back to that bugging little brat,
Jim (James rubs his hands)
James: your father is doing something outside so, until he finishes you
come here. (James takes Jim and injects the serum.
Jim: aaargh!
James: mwahahaha now in a few minutes’ time you will be my slave
monster!
Jim: (groans woozily) roar! (Jim turns into the monster, a big light beam
shows from Jim’s body)
James: Aah! (Monster strikes the scientist’s chest) no, no, nooo! (The
scientist dies)
Monster (Sadev): raar! (The monster breaks a lot of things inside the
cottage and goes away.)
Scene 2:
Narrator: The Police in the town saw the light beam when Jim turned to
the monster. And they got prepared and went to investigate inside the
woods.
Policeman 1-George (Yasath): Look! There’s a cottage!
Policeman 3-Charles (Dayan): Let’s go investigate then.
Policeman 2-John (Randinu): Woah! Looks like some kind of wolf
attacked this man.
Jack: please somebody help waa!
George: who is that baby crying for help?
Charles: well let’s go see.
George: Oh! It’s a man.
Jack: where’s my son?
John: how are we supposed to know? We just came a moment ago to
see what happened.
Monster: roar! (monster goes)
Jack: Aaah! No it can’t be! That horrible monster is my son!
George: How can you tell?
Jack: He has the same scar as my son!
Charles: Oh my goodness! We better investigate some more inside the
cottage to see what happened. (They all go inside the cottage)
Scene 3:
Narrator: Meanwhile in the town…
Monster: roar (The monster goes near a man who is standing in the
road.)
Townsman 1 – Daniel (Laknil): Aah! Help! There’s a monster save me!
Waa waa! (The monster attacks Daniel’s eye) Gaah! (Daniel faints)
Townsman 2 – Michael (Hiranga): Aah!! Please don’t hurt me you scary
and ugly monster! (The monster gets angry and tries to attack Michael
but Michael dodges the attack and escapes to a nearby house.
Scene 4:
Narrator: In the cottage the policemen and Jack are searching for an
antidote.
Charles: uhg! there’s absolutely nothing here!
Jack: you’re right… but we’d better go and find my- *sigh* the monster
first.
George: ok then let’s think where it will go now.
Narrator: they all think for a while when Jack suddenly spoke.
Jack: Oh no! I know where the monster will go next!
John: where?
Jack: my house!
George: how do you know that?
Jack: it’s been going on a straight line to the south and the next house is
mine! I’d better warn my wife!
Jack: hello? Amaya?
Amaya: yes?
Jack: look, this will be hard to believe but our son has turned into a
monster.
Amaya: What how?
Jack: James must have done something to him, he locked me in a shack
and went and when we returned he had a claw mark on his chest and he
was dead. anyway I needed to warn you.
Amaya: about what?
Jack: ok, so the monster is gonna come to our house in a little bit so get
ready with a-
Monster: (over the phone) raar!
Amaya: Ah!
Jack: quick police we have to get to my house the monster has arrived!
George: I’ll stay here and take the body out.
Jack: ok ( Jack goes with the police to his house)
George: oh! he’s heavier than I expected!
Scene 5:
Narrator: in Amaya’s house….
Monster: Raar! (raising a hand to attack Amaya)
Amaya: Ah! What do you want?
Monster: Roar! (with less anger)
Amaya: Son? Are you in there?
Monster: (low growl) (lowering his hand)
John: hands up you beast!
Monster: Raar! (rising of anger)
Amaya: No!
Charles: Shoot! (John and Charles shoots)
Monster: Roar!! (runs to attack the police)
Amaya: No, you shall not harm them! (and jumps in front of the
monster)
Monster: Raar! (pushes Amaya to the side and goes on to attack the
police)
Amaya: rrr! (Amaya jumps in front of the monster again)
Amaya: I know you’re in there son, just be calm I can help.
Monster: grr…. (anger descending)
Amaya: (hugs the monster)
Monster: rrr… (growls woozily)
Amaya: oh!
Monster: rrr….. (monster faints. a big light beam shows from its body
and turns back to Jim)
Jim: uuuh… what happened?
Amaya: oh gosh! my son, you’re back! (sits besides Jim)
Jack: That’s it!
Charles: What’s it?
Jack: the antidote! it’s love and kindness!
John: oh yeah…
Amaya: thank goodness he’s all right! Could you boys be kind and take
him to the hospital?
Charles: sure ma’am (Charles and John takes Jim to the hospital.)
Jack: ah finally that’s finished! when is tea my dear?
Amaya: Tea!? you’re asking for tea when our son was just taken to the
hospital!?
Jack: sure, why not?
Amaya: Oh come along, we have to stay with our son at the hospital.
Jack: *sigh* fine. (everyone goes off stage)
(one by one the actors come to the stage and bow to the audience and
goes out from the other end)
