Case: "Oplan Tokhang: The Philippines' War on Drugs"

Earlier this year, Rodrigo Duterte, the President of the Philippines chose to relaunch
the anti-drug campaign known as "Oplan Tokhang". The questionable anti-drug
campaign is maintained by Duterte as his beat need since his leadership two a long
time back. Since his 2016 presidential campaign, Duterte has vowed to slaughter each
medicate merchant and client within the nation, and subsequently kill the utilize of
unlawful drugs inside the Philippines. His unyielding and forthright approach to the
country's social and economic problems has won him widespread support in the
Philippines, allowing him to earn a landslide majority in the Senate as President,
implementing his planned policies much simpler.
The country's drug war has as of now welcomed continuous criticism by human
rights associations against President Duterte. The moral issues of Duterte's assignment
constrain and their too savage strategy of executing people for the suspected medicate
exchange stopped the anti-drug campaign twice in two years.
Despite that, the leader still maintains overwhelming support from his voters, mostly
residing in metropolitan cities. A large proportion of these people are not directly
affected by his drug policies and are satisfied by the increased sense of security
residing within the suburbs of Manila and Cebu, where crime and drug trade ran
rampant without Duterte’s aggressive drug policies.
Duterte's approach to the suspected drug trade may seem unnecessarily merciless,
but economic analysis reveals the true costs of the war on drugs and demonstrates that
his actions could harm his followers as well.
Life could be a valuable blessing that God gives to humanity and killing was an
awesome sin. The Division of Insides and Local Government (DILG) has requested the
Philippine National Police (PNP) to expand its ‘Oplan Tokhang’ program from unlawful
drugs to illegal betting on the “War on Drugs”. But on the counter portion of the Catholic
churches were not in favor to be executed by the government since of the savage result
to individuals. They believe that life is honest to goodness, they lecture that life must be
sacrosanct. There are a few instances where it has gotten out of hand and out of
control. We can't kill wrongdoing with another wrongdoing. It doesn't bring justice, but it
may make people less admirable since they're only as good as a single bullet.
