In «Ichan-Kala» reserve-museum’s exposition in Khiva more than 1000 units of household
goods collected for many years are available. At the first stage at creation of the museum citizens presented various, instruments of work and other subjects. Then with a view of enrichment of museum's exposition expeditions on territory of Khorezm were organized. In exposition halls of Khiva reserve-museum such agricultural instruments as sickle, pose, ketmen, shovel and other products are presented. In storehouse of the museum there are subjects used by tinkers, woodcarvers - as letter and reading accessories, toiletry, things necessary for religious practices. The basic complete set in storehouse of the museum is pottery of XVIII-XX centuries. This complete set includes dishes of various sizes, jugs for dairy products, utensils for dough, laundry, etc. During gathering of pottery employees of the museum paid a special attention on the subjects made by the known potter-master Rahimbergan ota Matchanov. Products and instruments of work of such potters as Sultan Atadzhanov, D.Sadullaev and A.Mirzaev are also included into the collection. In «Workmanship» hall of Khiva reserve-museum it is possible to familiarize with operating conditions of 11 mechanical workshops where handicraftsmen are engaged in manufacturing of products from stone, metal, leather, wood, copper, clay. Now more than 500 household accessories are avoidable in the exposition.
