An Enemy of the People, presented by the Saint John Theatre Company. Our final Main
Stage production for the season is also a touring piece that will make its way across the
Province this May. The SJTC is proud to present a modern adaptation that speaks to various
segments of New Brunswick with a cast of professional talent from across the Province.
Directed by Richard Rose, a highly versatile director who has been responsible for many of
the most memorable theatrical productions in Canada over the last three decades.

A local doctor has discovered industrial contamination in the local water. The town is
famous for its mineral baths and the discovery would shatter the local economy and ruin
the town. A pressing story with a local perspective. A message that can’t be ignored.
