Research Objectives

The purpose of this study was to determine the Environmental

Awareness and Practices on Solid Waste Management of Grade 12

Students. Specifically, this study had the following objectives:

1. To ascertain the quantity level of environmental awareness of the

grade 12 Students determined by:

1.1 practices;

1.2 attitudes;

1.3 noble values;

1.4 sustainability practice awareness;

1.5 behavioral and attitude awareness; and

1.6 emotional awareness.

2. To describe the level of practices on solid waste as determined by:

2.1 segregation;

2.2 reduce;

2.3 reuse;

2.4 disposal; and

2.5 recycle
 3. To determine the relationship between environmental awareness and

practices on solid waste management.

Null Hypothesis

The following null hypothesis was formulated and tested at 0.05 level

of significance.

H0 1. There is no significant relationship between environmental

awareness and practices on solid waste management of Grade 12

Students.
