INTRODUCTION- Background of the study. [1] Irrigation

[1] Most schools in the Philippines always have their own gardens where they plant flowers, vegetables, or
spices, these gardens not only can make the school look better it can also provide students with a real-time look
at how food is grown. There are different models for how these gardens work, but in many, children of different
ages have regular lessons in the garden, learning how to grow, harvest, and prepare a variety of fruits and
vegetables. Having a school garden can also have its own benefits for the students such as: students learn focus
and patience, cooperation, teamwork, and social skills aside from that they also gain self-confidence and a sense
of “capableness” along with new skills knowledge in food growing – soon-to-be-vital for the 21st century. [2]
According to researchers from Sri Krishna College of Technology, Irrigation may be a perfect methodology for
distributing water to soil that strengthens the crops in the field. Irrigation is employed to complement the water on
the market from downfall, field soil wetness. Quantity of downfall on the market in several components of the
globe is light to satisfy crop wetness necessities.

[3] Sprinklers are mainly used to irrigate, or provide water, to plants. There are complex systems of
sprinklers that can be installed in the ground for a large area, like a public park or an estate's acres of lawns. This
research aims to improve garden sprinklers to a much higher level, and that is by creating an Automatic Garden
Sprinkler. [4] Having normal sprinklers is a hassle itself, you have to manually turn on the faucet and even
possibly move the sprinklers in an effort to keep your garden neat and tidy, Automatic garden sprinkler is a type
of irrigation sprinkler, the difference is that the automatic garden sprinkler activates on its own according to its
programs, not only does it fix the problem of not watering the plants properly it is also a very convenient product
since it recycles rain water to water the plants and vegetables.
