Symmetricc or canted yoke:
QT Series is availablee with eitheer symmetric or canted d yoke desiign to coveer as closelyy as possiblle
valve resisttive torque profile.

Water ingrress protecttion:
Totally encclosed and w weather‐pro oof actuatoor is engineeered to meeet IP66, IP67 IP67M an nd NEMA 4 & &
4X Specificcations for ssubmerged and high prressure watter deluge a applications.

Materials::
Cylinder Tuube & all strructural parrts are manufactured in n carbon steeel materia al:
no cast/greey iron or aluminium p parts are useed.
All pressurre containing parts are supplied with 3.1 Certificate acco ording to EN N10204.
DVG Automation gua arantees, where
w appliicable, thatt actuatorss are design ned and manufacture

according to PED (97//23 CE) Direective.

Corrosion P Prevention:
Cylinder tuube is intern nally nickel‐plated lined d (minimum m 25µm). Niickel‐plating g layer can be increaseed
upon requeest.
External coating provvides higheer reliabilityy in harsh environmental condittions as peer ISO 1294 44
(Expected Durability) and in comp pliance with
h NORSOK M M‐CR‐501 reequirementts.

Seal:
Teflon ringg with interrnal chargin ng O‐ring and externall sealing O‐‐ring preven nts sticking phenomen na
after proloonged “stand still” and ensures red duced hysteeresis and hiigh sensitivity.

Bearing:
Dual piston n PTFE slidiing guide, yyoke and gu uide block a are mounteed with steeel bronze TTeflon coateed
bushing too minimize w wearing effeect and obta ain higher ssensitivity.

ISO Valve M Mounting:
The QT Serries valve in nterface ressponds to ISSO 5211 dimensional requiremen nts accordin ng to speciffic
torque ran nge. Differen nt arrangem ments can b be evaluated d to meet sp pecific need d (i.e. MSS SSP‐101, etc.);
direct mou unting is feaasible if avaiilable spacee permits.

The QT serries has beeen designed d with modu ular concep pt in mind sso to have ffield repaira able housing g,
power and override modules available as a individu ual sub‐asseemblies to o optimize spare parts
inventory. Each modu ule can be removed, serviced
s &//or replacedd while acttuator is stiill assembleed
onto the va alve, withou ut interruptting the process.
Specificallyy power mo odule is desiigned and co onstructed to allow preessure testiing independently from m
the housing.

This device is waafer‐mountted between n the actuattor and the valve, norm mally integrrated in valvve
mounting g hardware.. It offers ba
asic partial sstroke testiing for Emerrgency Shuttdown Valvee automateed
packag ge and it cann be used fo
or other saffety processs application ns. The lockking device m mechanicallly
limits the valve/actuaator assemb bly travel to
o 20deg (or as per speccific Custom mer request) clockwise o or
counteer‐clockwisee. Once diseengaged, the complete assembly iss free to tra avel for the entire strokke
with no interferencee.
