Deltasoft Time table Management

Main Screen

On first run you will get a blank main screen but when time table is created then the main screen will be look
like above.

On top current day and current period are displayed.

On upper right corner a bell panel is appeared. If the system is connected with main speaker of school the
system can ring automatic / manual bells.

Today time table of all classes are appeared. To check the teacher name just move mouse pointer on the period
the teacher name will be appeared.

On right side current busy teacher and free teacher are displayed.

On left side main operation buttons are displayed.

Subjects Management

To add a new subject  Press [ New ]

 Enter subject name and short name ( to display in time table )
 Press [ Save ]
To modify a subject  Click on the subject
 Change name or short name
 Press [ Save]
To set subject color  Right click on the subject
 Select color from appeared menu
 Select a color
 Press [ OK ]
Assign subject to a class  Select a class
 Check desired subjects
 Press [ Add ]
Change subject type  Double click on a subject in Class Subjects
 Change type to EXTRA if subject is not from main course
 Press SAVE icon
To remove subjects form  Select subject in Class Subject
class  Press [ Remove ]

Subject Quota
In each class we have to set the per week quota for each subject. Click on Subject Quota from main menu

An Excel like sheet will be appeared for all classes. Just use arrow keys to move cell and enter number of periods
per week for each subject.

Please keep in mind that total periods for each class should not exceed actual periods per week for a class. For
example. If there are 8 periods taken per day from Monday to Friday then total will be 8 x 5 = 40.

When done then press [ Save Periods ]

Generate of Time Table

 Select a teacher
 Check one or more classes.
 The subjects of checked classes will be appeared in Subject
quota list.
 Check target subjects
 Press [ Generate Time Table ( Random Periods ) ]
 A small summary of teacher availability will be appear. B
shows already busy periods of teacher and blank location
shows available periods.
 Click on desired periods to place a +
 OR click on [ + ] All to target all free periods.
 Now press [ Generate Time Table ( Random Periods ) ] again.
 The software will generate all possible periods without
confliction any other period.

To check the time table of any class, double click on the class.

To check the time table of a teacher, double click on teacher

How to modify a time table

After generation of time table it is possible to modify it. So open any time table check on [ ] Edit on.

Move Period : Click on a period an hold down the left click key of mouse. Now Drag it on any empty location.
The period will be moved.

Swap a Period : Click on a period an hold down the left click key of mouse. Now Drag it on a target period. A
message will be appeared and ask about confirmation. If [ Yes ] is pressed the periods will be swapped their
positions.

Group Period : Sometimes two different teachers take period of the same class at same time. Such as in 9th
class some of students take Bio class and some take Computer. So in this case two or more periods are grouped
together. Click on a period an hold down the left click key of mouse. Now Drag it on a target period. A message
will be appeared and ask about confirmation. If [ Yes ] is pressed the periods will be grouped.

To check modify a group just double click on grouped period. All periods in the group will be appeared in
bottom. Perform regular tasks on them if required.
