Risk  Snapcenter backup in BCP environment is fully functional, and by the upgrades in BCP
we risk impacting the only remaining functional setup of snapcenter backup in case we hit an
unforeseen bug or other disruptions. Production however is already down. Since the worst
impact of these upgrades will remain limited to snapcenter backup functionality and won’t
cascade to any other area, the upgrades might be executed directly in production as well. The
VM level snapshots allows us to revert to current state anytime, thereby making prod
environment immune to any further deterioration.
