JNK is continuously pursuing and implementing issue
based activities / programs by adopting a collaborative,
accountable and innovative approach in order to increase the
participation of the rural community in rural development and to
bring qualitative improvement in the life of the community.
Currently JNK has its main focus on following sector/theme

Shekhpura through its field interventions, directly reaches over 61900 poor
families and approximately the similar number of households

There are 28 managerial/technical staff working with JNK.
To sum up, the development interventions taken up by Jan Nirman Kendra as delineated above
have impacted positively and created pace for further replication and up-scaling. The availability
of inadequate external support and affordability of technologies by the small farmers often limit
the scope for up-scaling of these successful interventions in large area. So JNK s seeking such
agencies to link up for support to sustain the outcomes of various programme and further
focusing on Promotion of community based self sustain business institutions i.e. FPO,
incorporation of health & education related interventions with agriculture development
programmes for holistic development in rural areas and advocacy with government
machinery/mainstream to adopt model for large scale replication and policy making.
