Aligarh and Mewat

1. OBJECTIVE OF THE VISIT

In order to understand the factory operation, process, methodologies and the
various plants of the factories
The visit was organized prior permission and guidance. Mr. Amit and Mr. Anil
Kumar were the coordinators for whole this visit.

2. Brief Description
Visit Planned for the Aligarh factory for induction and introduction with a all-stake
holders to understand the factory operations
At the beginning of both visit, we met Mr Rama Krishna (GM Aligarh) Mr Sahaya
Pratap Fonglan (GM Mewat)
Aligarh Visit (26th Dec 2022 to 28th Dec 2022)

Day 1: Visited Store, Packaging Plant and cold storage with the Buddy (Mr. Amit -Store)

Day 2: Visited Boiler Plant, RO Plant, Tallow Refinery ETP Plant and Labour Colony visit

Day 3: Visited STP, Staff Colony, Rendering Plant, Scarp Yard and Unit 2

Mewat Visit (29th Dec 2022 to 31st Dec 2022)

Day 4: Visited Store, Packaging Store and Material Store, cold storage with the Buddy (Mr.
Amit -Purchase)

Day 5: Visited Boiler Plant, RO Plant, ETP Plant, Slaughter House, DG area and Material
Loading Area ,Unit 2 Al-Farha, taken a round to entire factory and material stored
areas

Day 6: Retuned back to Mumbai

Understanding and Learnings

Store Area
 Both the factories Store area moderately organized with a proper identification
marking, however no real time entry of material issuance observed at mewat factory,
Scope of improvement noted at record management.
 Packaging plant and store (Mewat and Aligarh) observed neat and clean with updated
records

Boiler Plants
 Aligarh: Boiler Plant layout and the operations details maintained properly with a real
time readings .Highly Critical area, observed nonadherence of safety standards and

protocols. Need to maintain safety measures precautions register regarding boiler
operation
 Mewat: No plant layout and operations detail at Boiler Plant, Safety and PPE need to
improve

Utility Plants (RO, STP, ETP)

 Aligarh: All plants having an enough details information and water parameter
highlighted in all plants.
 Mewat: All mandatory details available with plant operator
Entire flow process with the operations well explained by the operation in charge

Tallow Refinery
 Aligarh : Entire process were explained by the operation in charge, neat and clean
plant and well mainting the process register with a real time data

Rendering Plant and Cold storage

 Aligarh: Observed all plants and taken a note of all rendering process.
 Mewat: Visited Unit 2 Al-Farah

Scrap Yard
 Scrap yard not properly maintained, improper IN material details segregation

Observations
 Lacking and unawareness about Safety protocol at Boiler and ETP areas.
 Maintainace register not observed at both the plants for utility operations.
