The Story of Hang Tuah

Once upon a time, On the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, there is a kingdom called Bintan.
At that time there was a boy named Hang Tuah. He was a diligent and brave boy and often
helps his parents find wood in the forest. Hang Tuah has four comrades, Hang Jebat, Hang
Lekir, Hang Lekiu, and Hang Kasturi. They want to be skillful seamen and could bring ships to
distant lands.
One day, they boarded up to the middle of the sea. Hay look, there are three ships! Said Hang
tuah to his friends. The ships were still in the distance, so they obviously have not seen the
signs. The ships were getting closer. See that flag! Pirate flag! Let’s fight them until die! Hang
kasturi’s shouted. Pirate ships were getting close to Hang Tuah and his friends. Let's find the
island to shore up. Finish them off on the island. “Hey little boy, give it up. Come put your
kitchen knives!”. Hearing the words of the Hang Tuah was very offended. Then he jumped
nimbly and stabbed the pirate chief. and finally Pirate chief was killed instantly. In a short time
Hang Tuah and his friends managed to knock out pirates herd. They cought 5 of the pirates.
Some pirates managed to escape with his ship.
Then Hang Tuah and his friends come to the Sultan of Bintan with carrying their prisoners.
Because of the courage and ability, Hang Tuah and his friends were given the rank in the royal
army. Ten years ago, Hang Tuah was appointed commander in chief. But it did not last long
because the officers became jealous. The officers instigated Sultan palace. They said that Hang
Tuah can only dissipate, arrogant and wasting much money. Sultan eventually consumed their
incitement
Hang Tuah and Hang Jebat get fired. Even the officers palace pitting Hang Tuah and Hang
Jebat. They accuse Hang Jebat will rebel. Hang Tuah was shocked to hear the news. He went to
the Hang Jebat and tried reasoning with him. But apparently tactics by pitting the royal officers
successfully. Hang Jebat and Hang Tuah fought and eventually fight. Unlucky for Hang Jebat.
He was killed by Hang Tuah. Hang Tuah very sorry. But the Sultan said hang tuah is a hero for
killing the rebels. “I lift you back into commander”, said the Sultan. Since then Hang Tuah
again led the royal navy.
Hang tuah is doing a good job, so he is known as admiral and became a hero in Indonesia and
Malaysia. In honor of one Indonesian war ship was given KRI HANG TUAH. May the name
bring blessings like “Tuah”
