Life is full of choices, as they. In our daily living, we make ordinary decision.

Oftentimes, we are
puzzled in just merely choosing between the two options like whether what path or career we should take
— is it something that our heart wants just because this is where our passion belong to, or is it smart pick
if we choose this career in regards of income, which will help us to pay for our bills, needs, and wants in
future. Heart says do what our desire which will sure make us filled with joy and satisfaction, whereas
mind says that we should make smart decision and use our logic perspective, without regretting it at the
end of the day. Basically, heart tends to follow what our desires without analyzing the situation and
possible consequences, while mind is holding a grip on to what they know is best for us. The battle
between heart and mind is indeed tough, to the point each of us do not know whom we should trust.
Heart is so weak that when the degree of your emotion that you have may affect your decision.
According to Darwin's evolutionary theory, emotion is automatic and able to easily make judgements,
guiding us to make sound decisions uncertain. That is why we often hear the other say “Don’t make big
decisions when you’re being emotional”. Under the influence of negative emotions, we decide things
emotionally rather than logically, and these decisions are frequently prone to incorrectness. Based on
Barrett’s concept, the reasoning, logic, analytic or reflective may come is come from our mind. I believe
that making head-based decision should be a little bit louder and heard than our heart in choosing between
two crucial choices.
