The Central Nervous System

Synthesis:
I’ve first encountered the term Nervous System, way back from
my elementary school years. Back then, only the general function
and structure of the brain and spinal cord was taught. Hence, it
built up a foundational knowledge in my mind and since then I’ve
always understood how the Brain is literally the control center of
a person. Concerning from any mental, emotional, psychological,
and physical changes/development/involvement, a person is able
to process specific conditions due to the work of the brain.

Moreover, it is not just the brain that does all the work that
enables our mind to think, and our body to act. And now, at this
present time, human’s knowledge expanded even more, and new
discoveries have emerged, even in the function and capabilities of
the brain. Despite being thoroughly researched by anatomists and
physiologists, there’s still a lot more to know and discover about
the central nervous system. Hence, the following are some of its
functions:
 controls our thoughts, movements, emotions, and desires
 controls our breathing and heart rate
 release of some hormones
CNS consists of:
 body temperature, body response/reactions, senses, and more.
 creation of memories, and the sensation of emotion.
BRAIN
 reasoning, problem-solving, creativity
The spinal cord is directly connected to the brain and that the

nerves are just spread everywhere to its respective positions and
receiving various bodily reactions/response. As the three; the
NERVES/SENSORY brain, spinal cord, and sensory nerves, work together they are able
