How to build the linguistic identity and its


relations with society:
It is very prominent to state that we are living in a non English speaking
country the fact that makes its acquisition a bit difficult since English is already
considered as the third language after French language because of colonialism.
That’s why we almost find many families speaking French better than speaking
English and this comes back to the way they have left in their lives.

In other words, we might be allowed to state that young men at our societies
are already built within a French identity because of their Francophone parents
or because of the society that has been influenced by theremnant of French
colonialism
However, in our days, we might see this change because of the new
generation that grown up upon the English Culture because of movies, internet,
chat, music, play-station and so on. Then from this perspective, we can see that
family and especially parents are playing such a very prominent role in raising
the language identity of their kids so that they would be skillful in either using it
correctly while talking or writing. Family is the first class where the kid is
taking his lessons. It is either through his sisters and brothers, or through parents
themselves. This way, future generations, will never suffer the problem of
English correct pronunciation, or the complicated words that can’t been plained
only through dictionary.

EFL learners always face such obstacles in learning new expressions and
words that have to do with the English culture. This is mainly because of less
daily social practices that makes new vocabulary acquisition almost difficult. In

other words, EFL students rarely use their English outside their classes the fact
that makes the developmental EFL learning process tougher.
Besides, the effects of nurseries and kindergartens on kids language safety must
be really taken into account once the person speak about the safety of the
language. We almost find, in our days, mothers who are busy with the jobs, find
themselves in a situation that obliged them to leave their kids either with a nurse
or in a kindergarten space where they will raise their language with their baby-
sitters. If ever these nannies are not aware of the English language, these kids,
even if their family is working too hard to develop his/her English language,
then the nursery station will effectively impact his language progress. Then, if
we ever need to raise our kids within correct basics in any foreign language then
we have to consider his/her plasticity of his brain in his early time learning.

Hence, amusement parks, and games have a huge effect on programming


children's brains through the language acquisition. We almost find our little kids
repeating English songs of YouTube videos, or play station games expression
the fact that will give a good hint to the correction of their English in the way of
oral expression.

Therefore, language acquisitions have many effects that either help the
learner go through his process of learning in a more developed way or it might
create obstacles through his learning path. So, EFL learner must take these
reasons into consideration if he/she really wishes to learn the language correctly
and develop all the four skills in more accurate manner.
