the one to relay the message to the family members.
2. Since the blood glucose is high, it is my responsibility to
provide insulin immediately.
3. I will delegate it to the IVE-certified because it within their
scope of practice, and they have certification to do it.
4. It is the responsibility of the ward clerk because they have
easier access and nearer to the communication lines, he or
she will be the one to call the maintenance to fix the
overflowing toilet.
5. I am responsible to go to the patient and explain why the
food is late. You have to explain to them there are
medications that should be given after eating so that it will
not irritate the GI tract. You should also ask for forgiveness
that it will not happen again.
6. It is my job to clearly explain to the medical director as to
why one of the patient has not started his or her
chemotherapeutic drug. Since I am the one who is more
aware of what is happening within the ward.

2) The nursing aide reports that
Mrs. Jones has become comatose
