Introduction

We the students of BSIT IV of La Consolation College of Liloan decided

to write this book on Library system to enrich our knowledge about the
several principles and functions of management and how they can be
applied in our school’s library operations. In this book we have tried to
cover the whole field of library system as comprehensively as possible.
The program we set before ourselves thus a somewhat ambitious one
for a program to be. But in spite of the vastness of the ground covered,
we have endeavored to make the book something more than a mere
paper or sketch, and have aimed at such fullness of treatment as would
ensure clarity and comprehensive to the reader. The goal of this project is
to create a Library System for the school in order to make the schools system
more efficient and user-friendly. A completely automated library service is
made possible by the Library system. It may display information about the
books accessible in different departments, book transactions, and book
holders, and can even add and delete books. Completing the chapters with
proper and effective information required lot of literature study. We are
implementing a low-work high-effectiveness project that can be used to
help our striving librarians do their work effectively. After this project
can be implanted we hope we can succeed to our more future
endeavors.
