Introduction

 Library Management System is all about organizing, managing the library and
library oriented-tasks. It also maintaining the database of entering new books and
the records of books that have been retrieved or issued, with their respective
dates.
 It has a facility of admin login through which the admin can monitor the whole
system.
 Overall this project of ours is being developed to help the library administration,
maintain the library in the best way possible and also reduce the human efforts.

Objectives

This Project aims to:

 The main objective of the Library Management System is to manage the details of
books, students, books issue and book return. It manages all the information
about book issue and return. The project is totally built at administrative end and
thus only the administrator is guaranteed the access. The purpose of the project
is to build an application program to reduce the manual work for managing the
books, members, books issue and return. It tracks all the details about the book
issue and return, books, students.

Target Customers

The target customers are the admin or the librarian of schools and the personnel
who were in-charged of providing service that ensuring the organized compilation
of books.

Value Proposition

This system fills the need of having a detailed information and easy to use
system. Allows user to view quick reports like Book Issues/Returned etc in
between particular time.

Application features and Description

The Library Management System is a software design where admin can

add/view/delete librarian and librarian can Add & viewbooks, issue, view issued
books and return books. We can issue the books to the students and maintain

their recorded and can also check how many books are issued and stock available
in the library.
