CRITIQUE OF CAPITALISM
In his materialist
interpretation of history, Karl
Marx explained various mode of
productions like primitive
communism, age of slavery and
Feudalism and capitalism. He
gave very powerful critique on
the history , role and nature of
capitalism and also outlined the
plan of transition from
capitalism to socialism and
communism. Marx described that
capitalism played a progressive
role in history but it became a
mode of exploitation in
contemporary times.
According to Marx, Bourgeoisie
historically has played a most
revolutionary part.
1.Ccapitalism played the role in
the destruction of feudalism in
Europe.
2.Capitalism was responsible for
growing human mastery over
nature. capitalism introduced
the enormous growth of science
and technology.
3.Captialsm introduced the
constant need for
revolutionizing the forces of
production and relations of
production.
4.Capitalism has introduced
material abundance and ended
scarcity.
But
Capitalism was once progressive
but now it has outlived its
usefulness.
1.Capitalism suffers from
sharp class division between
haves and have nots.
2.Capitlaims is based on the
institutions of private
property.
3.Capitalism has tendency
towards monopoly.
4.Capitalism is based on
exploitation of working class.
5.Capitalism appropriates
surplus value created by labour.
6.Capitalims creates alienation.
It alienates worker from his
work, from his essence, from
society.
7.Through alienation, capitalism
dehumanizes both capitalist and
worker.
