best solution
6.Investigate opportunities to limit required testing and reduce certification costs with FEA analysis.
7. Presenting papers on FEA projects in All India Conferences.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
a) Won First prize in paper presentation competition in Altair Technology Conference 2019, Bangalore
b) Cost savings of 2 Cr in Design optimization, Non-standard validation and warranty cost savings
projects.
c) Customer satisfaction through safe and reliable product design.
d) Through Finite Element Analysis redesigned Neo Truck series 1.5 to 10Tonne, the premium and most
profitable product of MHE and the bestseller series.
e) 300 FEA projects successfully concluded till date in various categories like Design Validation,
Optimization, Failure Analysis, Nonstandard product validation.
Projects with major accomplishments are listed below

1. Multibody dynamic Analysis (MBD) of Forklift Upright for durability Analysis.

Tools used: Altair Inspire/Motion solve used

Achievement:
This project won the First prize in Altair Technology Conference 2019 in Bangalore.
The Chain pulley mechanism of Forklift Mast assembly simulated perfectly through Altair inspire.
Forces from MBD simulation correlated well with Analytical calculations. Also stresses from MBD
simulation showed good Correlation with physical Testing.

2. Explicit Analysis to perform Drop Test simulation of Overhead Guard using IS Standards.
Tools used: Radioss Explicit Solver.

Achievement:
Result from simulation correlated well with the physical testing
This project was presented in Altair Technology Conference 2015.

3. Topology and Size Optimization of Drive Unit bracket using Opti struct
Tools used: Optistruct

Achievement:
The weight of the drive unit bracket was reduced by 50% giving substantial savings
This project was presented in Altair Technology Conference 2012

4. Multibody dynamics Analysis (MBD) of 3T Steer Axle Assembly and its Force correlation with
Analytical calculations.
Tools used: Hyperworks Motion solve used.

Achievement:
Force Analysis results from MBD showed good correlation with Analytical calculations.

5. Multibody dynamics Analysis (MBD) of Stacker Foot board assembly to identify field failure
Tools used: Motion view/Motion solve. Hyperworks motion solve

Achievement:
Hotspot areas identified from simulation matched with the failure location in the field. This gave
confidence to take corrective actions to resolve the failure.
6. Multibody dynamics Analysis (MBD) of Scissor Lift mechanism to extract the force needed to lift
the scissor and optimization of the structure.
Tools used: Hyperworks motionsolve /Opti struct

Achievement: The Actuator force results from MBD simulation matched well with Analytical
calculations.
This gave sufficient confidence to perform Optimization on the structure.
Weight of each link reduced by 25% by using optimization tools in Optistruct.

7. Multibody dynamic Analysis (MBD) of Power Pallet truck to identify field failure location
Tools used: Hyperworks motionsolve used

Achievements: Wheel reactions from the MBD Analysis showed good correlation with physical
testing hence correctives for field failure resolution could be taken with confidence.
